Job Description:

Municipal Committee Jhelum has announced job vacancies for the positions of Driver and Helper. These positions are part of the ongoing World Bank Fund Punjab Citizen Program (PCP) project called "PROVISION OF MACHINERY & EQUIPMENTS FOR (IMPROVEMENT OF SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT IN JHELUM)." The selected candidates will be hired from Punjab residents.

Preference will be given to candidates from Jhelum district and its nearby districts. This is an excellent opportunity for male candidates to secure government jobs in Punjab.

Responsibilities:

Driving the assigned vehicle as per the designated routes

Maintenance of vehicle cleanliness and ensuring that the necessary repairs are done

Assisting the solid waste management staff in daily operations

Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Minimum education level of Primary/Middle

Only male candidates can apply

Candidates should possess a valid driving license

Residents of Jhelum district and its nearby areas will be given preference

Must be physically fit and able to perform the assigned duties

Salary and Benefits:

The selected candidates will be offered fixed pay for a period of three years without any increment. Other benefits will be as per the organization's policy.

Interested candidates should submit their applications along with the necessary documents, including two recent passport-sized photographs, educational certificates, computerized identity card, domicile certificate, and attested copies of experience to the Municipal Committee Jhelum office by April 7, 2023.
