Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA), Lahore invites applications from interested candidates for recruitment on a contract basis for a duration of 36 months under the Project Management Unit (PMU) for the project titled "Lahore Water and Wastewater Management Project-Laying of Sewerage System from LARECH Colony to Gulshan- e-Ravi through Trenchless Technology" to be funded by Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AllB)

BS or B.Sc. in Civil/Mechanical/Water Engineering or any other relevant 60 discipline from HEC recognized university registered with PEC with a minimum of 12 years of professional experience working in the water sector with sound knowledge of Project Management, Strategic Planning and Construction Management particularly large-scale similar project in public or private sector in the metropolitan area.

B.Sc. in Civil Engineering (preferably with M.Sc. in Geotechnical 57 Engineering) from HEC recognized university with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience relating to micro-tunneling / tunneling Experience related to Geotechnical investigations of laying sewer through micro- tunneling/tunneling of large-scale projects, especially in a metropolitan area will be highly preferred.

BS or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from HEC recognized university registered 55 with PEC with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the water sector related to civil components of large-scale projects

B.S or B.Sc. in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering from 55 HEC recognized university registered with PEC having a minimum of 10 years of experience in the water sector related to electrical & mechanical components of the project such as pumping stations/SCADA

BS or BSc in Civil/ Mechanical Engineering degree from HEC 55 recognized university registered with PEC with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in procurement & contract management on national international MDB / IFI funded projects in the public or private sector on National & International Procurement Guidelines

BS or B.Sc. Environmental Engineering from PEC recognized university or 50 M.Sc. in environmental sciences / Social Sciences / Sociology from HEC recognized university with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in the environmental and social sector

01 ACCA/ACMA/MBA in Finance from HEC recognized university with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the public or multinational private sector.

01 BS or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from HEC recognized university registered 40 with PEC with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.

01 BS or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from HEC recognized university 40 registered with PEC with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.

Terms and Conditions:

B.Com. / BBA from HEC recognized university with a minimum of 5 years 40 of similar experience in the public or private sector

LLB/LLM from HEC recognized university and registered with the Punjab 40 Bar Council having a minimum of 6 years of practicing experience in higher courts or public/private organizations.

B.Com from HEC recognized university with at least 3 years of relevant 35 experience in financial management.

02 DAE in Civil / Mechanical/Electrical with a minimum of 3 years of 35 experience in the public or private sector.

01 DAE in Civil/Architect supported with at least 2 years of experience in GIS 35 mapping in the public or private sector.

01 Intermediate having a minimum of 3 years of experience of working in the 42 public/corporate sector such as multinational companies or micro/macro- financing institutions.

3. The positions mentioned above will purely be on contract basis for a period of 36 months. Age of the candidate will be calculated from the date of birth mentioned in the Matriculation / O-Levels Equivalence Certificate.

4 The selected candidates shall not confer any right for regular appointment as the hiring against said posts will be made purely on a contract basis.

5 In case the secondary school certificate does not bear the date of birth, the same shall be calculated from CNIC/ Birth Certificate of the candidate.

6 Degrees/Qualifications must be recognized by HEC Pakistan.

7. Registration from PEC is mandatory where applicable.

8. Employees of Government/ Semi-Government /Autonomous bodies shall apply through the proper channel and will

be required to present NOC from the competent Authority at the time of the Interview.

No TA/DA will be admissible.

10. Date, time, and place of the interview will be informed to the top shortlisted candidates.

11. Decision of the Selection Committee will be final and not be challengeable in any Court of Law.

12. WASA Lahore reserved the right to withhold the recruitment process at any stage. 13. Age will be reckoned as on the Closing Date fixed for receipt of applications.
